10 Quotes to Motivate You During Challenging Times

stress-pic.jpg
Challenges are like climbing a hill and never reaching the top. As a young child growing up, when I was feeling down my grandmother would always say “catch yourself.” Her meaning behind that quote was to never let yourself go so far that you aren't able to rebound. When you are going through difficult times, no matter what anyone says, it’s hard to feel confident in yourself. Sustaining your thoughts and emotions with positive, encouraging words helps you to realize that you are not along in your struggle. Knowing other’s have walked the same path of uncertainty gives affirmation that trouble does not last always. Listed below are 10 quotes that have inspired many, even myself. Stay encouraged! Don't leave the game until you have won.

1. “Champions are not made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them, a desire, a dream and a vision.” Muhammad Ali

2. “Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven’t half the strength you think they have.” Norman Vincent Peale

3. “Take heed: you do not find what you do not seek.” English Proverb

4. “Our lives improve only when we take chances and the first and most difficult risk we can take is to be honest with ourselves.” Walter Anderson

5. “Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy.” Norman Vincent Peale.

6. “It’s the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top.” Robert M. Pirsig

7. “Failure is just a rehearsal. Success is the main event.” Author Unknown

8. Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” Harriet Beecher Stowe

9. “It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed.” Theodore Roosevelt

10. “Effort only fully releases its reward after a person refuses to quit.” Napolean Hill

I hope these quotes give you encouragement to know that anything is possible if you believe. When you are having one of those days, choose an affirmation that motivates you to keep going and surround yourself with positive people who want to see you do well.

The Missing "Link" to YOUR Success

Is there a magic formula to success? Is it trial and era? Is it the pull of a lucky straw and waaalaaa... Everything you want is granted to you. Most successful people will tell you that it took and takes long hours, tears and sweat in order to reach the level of success you desire.

Whether it's spending years in school to acquire the knowledge or years in the workplace getting the hands on experience, your success is completely dependent on your desires and expectations.

What's Really Going on in America in 2016?

"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal." Abraham Lincoln

When will all voices have a right to be heard? When will we apply our lifestyle to what was written in the constitution in which this country was built? The right to be human should not be a choice that another human is privileged to decipher.

Luke 6:31

"Do Unto Others as You Would Have them Do Unto You"

The more things change, the more they appear to stay the same or possibly have gotten worse. At least in the eyes of some. Change equates to solutions. If no solutions are resolved, then the same old problems will occur.

A Moment in History! This Was Released 20 Years Ago..... and 20 Years Later... Things are still the same!

"If any man claims a black person should be content... let him say he would willingly change the color of his skin and go to live in the black section of a large city. Then and only
then has he a right to such a claim."

This article is written to enlighten, inform and make one aware. There will be some that agree and others who won't. The bottom line is America has a problem and history along with research and documentation proves it to be true.

The questions is, "what are we going to do to solve it"? Each and everyone of us has a responsibility to be accountable. Nevertheless, the dream will never work if everyone is not willing to be an active participant on the team.  Communication is a start. But it must go beyond that.

5 Reasons Why People Fear Writing Their Own Paycheck

It has been said that everyone is not meant to be an entrepreneur. I beg to differ. Most people are entrepreneurs except they enjoy working and building the businesses of others instead of themselves. Therefore, they would be classified as intrapreneurs. There is nothing wrong with that if that is what you enjoy. Taking the plunge to self-reliance can be a hurdle, discouraging and down right depressing. However, the gratifying aspect of entrepreneurship outweighs all of that. There is no other profession that allows you flexibility, the ability to control your income and the desire to change the world and have your name stamped as the custom gold seal. Listed below are 5 reasons why most people are afraid to depend on themselves for financial survival and valued appreciation. Only the strong can conquer this narrow path.

  1. Fear of the unknown- This is the greatest barrier to the success of many. It dominates, manipulates and transpires the strong into dependent, weak individuals. When you are accustomed to receiving a salary, it’s difficult to transition to possibly not receiving one. The ups and downs can be unbearable if you are not prepared in advance. You can work your job while you build your dream. Learn everything you can on your job so that you know what to and not do in order to make your business thrive.
  2. No support from others- When others don’t support your viewpoint or your choice to leave a job and become an entrepreneur, it can be lonely. One may feel as though they are isolated from the “normal” way of doing things. When in actuality you are. Sometimes you are seeking someone to answer to and there is no one there but you. This may allow you to become distracted by the thoughts and opinions of others and often give up without giving your choice of life a chance.
  3. Not enough experience- Some of the richest business owners are college dropouts. Educational level is not indicative of success. However, there is a distinct characteristic that these individuals share. All were driven from one aspect or another. Their desire was greater than their fear and their belief in themselves carried them to success. So, don't allow your lack of not knowing be your excuse. There are many tools and resources to help you learn how to do what you want to do. In essence, don't recreate the wheel, just make it unique and your own.
  4. Time involved- Starting a business is typically not an overnight success. Even though the idea can be conceptualized during that time, developing it into a successful enterprise requires a significant amount of exclusion. You must remove yourself from all that is temporary in order to create your permanent way of life. The desire to start is always present, but to actually put the dream into action can be mind boggling, not to mention time consuming and possibly costly without the right information.
  5. Lack of direction- Starting without a defined plan confuses the beginning, the middle and the end. A business plan is essential for any business venture, small or large. Most people don’t know where to begin when seeking to start a business. Therefore, they give up before it is put on paper. It remains an imagination. Some often open up shop without research and baptize their business to be doomed from the beginning. You can't travel blind, nor can you succeed without seeing the light. Jot down ideas, look at what others have done and find out how to make it happen.

There are tons of businesses one can start. Some with little investment. Whatever business you decide on, you must be committed and determined to see it succeed. Entrepreneurship is like none other. There is a sense of pride that one has which causes you to stick your chest out with a sincere accomplishment that you made it happen. There's nothing like giving yourself a raise, a vacation or even retirement when you are in control of your destiny and not relying on an employer to do it. Those who attempt to seek the bright side of life often enjoy it so much that the thought of being under the leadership of someone else becomes frightening. These fears can become strengths with self-confidence, self-reliance, guidance, a plan and a whole bunch of faith. Be determined to achieve your goals and stay focused on what you want to accomplish. If you want it, you can have it with effort and action. By the size of a mustard seed, what you want is within reach.

buy a house Home ownership is something many dream about. It is the American dream. Understanding the process and how it works gives you greater advantage and less stress during the process. Outside of getting married and having children, purchasing a home can be one of the most challenging. There are so many things to look for when you are buying a home. You must be prepared for all things because anything can happen. Don't be afraid to ask plenty of questions, choose the right team, read all the small print and be aware of your options. Getting a snapshot of the broader picture can make becoming a homeowner a pleasurable experience. The last thing you want to have is a surprise later on.

"It's easy to underestimate the real cost of home ownership." Suze Orman

1. Get pre-approved for a home loan! Do this FIRST!! This is essential, especially if you are not paying with cash. This will take the guess work out of your search. Most often people do this after they find a home and end up wasting their time. This one aspect will position you for success. You will know how much you can afford and what neighborhoods are available in your price range. The mortgage laws have changed and the criteria is much more structured. Being aware of the interest rate and the true value of what you can afford will help save you from financial hardship and distress over time.

2. Always buy less than you can afford! This is what caused the mortgage melt down from 2006 - 2008. People where being approved for homes that were way over their true budget. If you buy what you can afford, it leaves room to live, do home improvements and take care of everything else that can go wrong with a house.  Things happen and you must be prepared to act and take care of it right then and there. Otherwise it can be even more costly in the end. Also, be aware of what the utilities run on a monthly basis. You can find this out by simply picking up the phone and personally calling the utility company. In most instances, the customer service agent would be more than happy to give you an average of the cost over a twelve month period.

"Real estate is the key cost of physical retailers. That's why there's the old saw: location, location, location." Jeff Bezos

3. Location, Location, Location… The first thing you need to do when you are looking for a home is to pay close attention to the location. This big decision can affect your appraised value as well as resell in the future. Make certain you are aware of what is planned for the area. Is there any new construction? Any new shopping centers opening? Are they planning any new zoning with highways and businesses? You also want to be in an area that you feel most comfortable. Make certain that you are buying in an area that will produce great value and/or stability over the long run. The best advantage about real estate is that it is supposed to appreciate in value. After the location part, you will want to make sure that you have the right number of bedrooms and bathrooms in the home that you purchase. Many people want to have enough space for their family to live in now and grow in for later. Especially if you plan to be there longer than 5 years.

"Commercial real estate always trails residential, and as residential growth flourishes, shopping centers flourish and service the communities, and jobs come out." Johnny Isakson

4. Getting the home that you want the most is going to take some work. Keep in mind, no home is perfect but there is one that is perfect for you. It has to fit your lifestyle. You have to make sure that you are able to get the home of your dreams or at least close to it. Looking is the fun part about buying a home. You get to check out a lot of homes and with each one you will see something different that you really want in your next home. You can use all of the homes that you have looked at as a reference point and make your choice from everything they have combined. I advise my clients to choose the things they can live with and without. Then base those accommodations on a scale of 1-10. Of course 10 being the highest.

"Home ownership is the cornerstone of a strong community." Rick Renzi

5. Test the waters and start driving around neighborhoods that you are interested in.  Some neighborhoods look different during the day than they do at night. You may find activity that may not be a good fit with your family lifestyle. This will give you a greater perspective of what's going on and if it's something you are willing to live with. It's easier and less stressful to find the home of your dreams if you know what you are looking for in advance. There are many great homes that are advertised all the time and you can get a great range of homes by being proactive in your search.

6. Hire a Realtor! This should be second after obtaining a mortgage pre-approval. A Realtor is your greatest asset in the home buying process outside of the mortgage broker. They can keep you abreast of what’s new on the market, deals that haven't hit the market yet and all the ethical issues that are associated with purchasing real estate. Since they must maintain a fiduciary responsibility to their clients, the Realtor should be working on your behalf. Make certain you are clear of your expectations and what the Realtor can offer you as a partner in the process.

7. You should also make sure that you are inspecting any home that you are planning to buy. This can save you money, BIG TIME!! You need to make sure that the home you are thinking about purchasing does not have anything too major wrong with it. Home ownership is great, but it’s also expensive. If you don’t have the finances socked away for the unexpected, it may not be a great time to purchase. You need to have an inspector or someone that you trust to check all the plumbing and electricity of the home. These are two very important aspects of a home and it could be costly to repair. You have to be sure that you will not find a problem later on down the road with the home. You also should make sure that you pay attention to the roof and basement. If you do find a problem with a home that you are thinking about purchasing, see if the present owner will fix it. This request can be a part of the contract. This is where a Realtor will be handy in assisting you in negotiating the specifics. Even the cost of the inspection can be negotiated between the buyer and the seller. Sometimes you can make a deal with the present owner to have the problems fixed before you decide to buy. Unless it is being sold as is, some sellers may be flexible and willing to close the deal. This will help you out in the end and you may not have to give up on the home of your dreams.

8. Buy low... Nationwide the market is rebounding. However, there are plenty of great deals that are up for grabs. Tons of foreclosures and bank owned properties still dominate the market. This may be the perfect time to stop renting and start owning. Not to mention, owning real estate is a tax deduction and a worthy investment.

Overall, home ownership has been quoted as the American dream. Owning the title to a piece of real estate can be the beginning of your investment of wealth. Buying low and selling high is a strategic purpose of how most people begin. Finding a home that suits your family, your expectation and your desires creates years of happiness and plenty of joy.

4 Types of Human Hunger

“Making money isn't hard in itself, what's hard is to earn itdoing something worth devoting your life to” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Thought of the day...

A question on the panel in #PlentifulLiving101. There are 4 types of hunger where people are striving to be fed.

1. Money - people need more of it. Something is always due or overdue. You fake the funk and rob Peter to pay Paul then go about it as if nothing is wrong with your right. You live in a fantasy because reality is too scary for sight.

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. –Benjamin Franklin

2. Time - not enough of it exist. Work 8 hours to come home and prepare for tomorrow. You're too tired to do anything else but complain you don't have time. Waiting for Friday to eventually realize that it's Monday already and you're back to the same routine.

TIme quote 3. Security - nothing is guaranteed but life and death. I hate to inform you, but that good job isn't either. Don't be fooled and retire with just a pen. You better hope your 401K is still in tact. You should be accountable to you and everything else should be secondary. It ain't like it used to be and if it was, don't you want to be FREE.

“If a company won't hire you, why don't you start your own company? Steve Jobs created jobs, he didn't apply for them. #Startup your dreams.” Jarod Kintz

Dave Ramsey Quote 4. Spirituality - without it, people are misguided, mislead, misdirected and confused. They focus on external connections versus internal. When spirituality approaches them, they take credit for them being relieved for all of the problems above. Nothing can be done without a great relationship with the supplier. For HE provides a way to get through and be open to something new.

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love, Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.” ― Francis of Assisi

Nevertheless, the combination of money, time, security and spirituality can cause one to think long and hard or just continue going about their daily routine of existing and not living. All are needed to survive and thrive. At some point, one must have a conversation with self. Be real!! If there is lack, increase won't take place until you take action and move in a different direction in one or all areas of your life. Is it time to get busy?

“Always be smarter than the people who hire you.” ― Lena Horne

Choosing a Mate That is Right for You

Don't forget to LOVE yourself..

Finding someone to share your life with can be a challenge. Often times we look in all the wrong places and eventually get stuck with leftovers or trash that is difficult to be disposed of. Love and relationships are two different things. You must ask yourself, which one do you want. In choosing, make certain that you have the time that is needed to invest in what it is you want. Before you can give of yourself, make certain you are confident in what it is you’re expecting and what it is you want to receive. Have some type of idea of the relationship you are looking for because this is the first step of valuing your time and that of others. Are you seeking a casual companion, a weekend lover or someone to spend the rest of your life with? Develop an idea of what you would call a great mate. While some might say that this limits your choices way too much, it's possible to both know what you're looking for and be open to something else.

Love pic1 The most tangible aspect is that you don’t have to settle. The secret sauce in finding a companion is in putting together a list of characteristics of your ideal mate and how you think about that list once you develop it. If you see every characteristic on it as absolutely necessary, you might miss out on meeting a wonderful person. After all, no one is perfect, but someone is perfect for you. If, on the other hand, you see your list as a set of guidelines, having it can help you choose the relationships you do and do not want to pursue. This is critical because far too many people are in a hurry to find a mate without vetting them out. This behavior could lead to all sorts of unhappiness, regret and a possible disaster. Being specific with intention can be beneficial in the long run.

Love make the world go round..

When seeking a relationship, it’s important to identify what you deem as necessary and unnecessary characteristics in a mate. Begin gathering your list by thinking back over past relationships, whether they were romantic in nature or not. Were any fulfilling? Are there any characteristics that other people have that make life incredibly difficult for you? I mean… things that would make you miserable to be around. Or better yet, things that you simply cannot tolerate. In contrast, are there any characteristics that you find absolutely necessary in someone you're going to be close to? Things that make your heart flutter, your mind think and your life better. Now think about some attributes and aspects you would appreciate or admire in a potential new mate. These should be things that make you feel good and enjoy being around this person. Use these components to help get you started, both in making a list of things you want in a mate and in making another one of things that you don't want and refuse to deal with. Anything that comes up in these thought exercises is probably pretty important to you and might even make or break a future relationship. So think long and careful about this process.

Love is bigger than one second, one hour and one day..

Just as you list the necessary and unnecessary components, you must acknowledge the desirable and undesirable characteristics too. After you have your lists of necessary and unnecessary characteristics, think about other aspects of people you've known that you have enjoyed or that have been hard for you to deal with. These may not be quite as important as the things you just listed, but they are aspects of another person that would be nice to have or to simply avoid. You may want to make these into a separate category on your list. That way, you can separate them in your mind from things that are absolutely necessary or to be avoided. Again, thinking long and hard while being aware and conscientious are key to successfully choosing the right mate.

Your CHOICE can make or break you...

You deserve to be picky. But how picky do you deserve to be. For me, being picky is a big deal. Just as I am careful in planning out other events in my life, I will be just as careful in trying to choose someone who is worthy of my time. After all, choice is a personal decision and it can also be a life-long one as well. Now that you have your list in front of you, it's up to you to decide how closely you want to stick with it. Again, it’s your choice! Are the characteristics on the list important enough to you that any perfect mate would have to have all of them? On the other hand, are some of them absolutely essential and others you can live with or without? Know that you are free to make whatever choice you want to in this area. This is your life and you should have a say so. This is your relationship you're considering, so the choices need to be suited to your own preferences and perspectives. In case you are not prepared, remember that choosing to be picky might mean that it is harder to find a mate. No matter how many of these characteristics he or she has, there will still be areas of your relationship that could be difficult in other areas. Relationships should grow. In that process, both of you will change. It is with great hopes that your intentions are to grow together and help each other along the way.

Let me count the ways that I LOVE you...

So, once you've made this decision, don't let anyone persuade you otherwise to sway a different way. As I mentioned, this is your life and you will be the one that has to deal with the consequences of poor choice. No matter how good looking a perfect mate may be, what they drive, their occupation and what they tell you, if they don't have the characteristics you've deemed essential, the relationship probably isn't going to last long. In addition, don't allow friends or family to persuade your decision making towards your ideal mate. Who you date and how you choose them is your choice, not anyone else's. We all have different taste and our personal taste won't be the same as anyone else's. Therefore, relying on their advice and judgement simply will not work. You need to trust your own instincts, needs, desires and preferences when deciding on a mate to add to your life.

Love pic 2 Love is a two-way street. Both parties are supposed to be giving of each other. Even though no relationship is perfect, there is one that is perfect for you. Be fair with yourself and the other person. Know that a relationship or a love that lasts is built on a solid foundation. When a piece of it cracks, both must be willing, ready and able to glue it back together. Love is a beautiful thing. Don’t settle just because you are lonely. Pray about what you are seeking and let the love you are requesting find you.

When LOVE finds you, it's a beautiful thing...

Happy LOVE day… 365 days out of the year! If you like, please like. If you love, please share this article with others. Thank you and much love...

4 Assets That Require an Investment

"If you count all your assets you always show a profit."

Wise investments pay hefty dividends. Knowing where to place your resources enable you to have more control over your market and have less fear in its volatility. In life, we have more control over things than not. Depending on priorities, we decide which if any, gets attention. Therefore, the decision to be proactive and invest versus reactive and guessing, can enable you to live a more profitable life.

1. Relationships - great connections with people allow you to excel in life. They hold you up when you are down and lift you up as you continue to rise. It nurtures your confidence to have good ones. Good relationships give long life and bad ones can cause disease. Examine who is good for you and who is not. Put each in its perspective and place. Don't give in to dropping stock, invest in long-term growth. People who are by your side and tell you when you are right and wrong have proven to be great finds.

relationship quote1 2. Health - Your health is your wealth because without it, you are broke. Poor health robs you of a rich lifestyle. It imprisons you to medication and ultimately affects your entire portfolio and limits your growth. Great investments in eating healthier foods, cutting back on things you know you shouldn't have and letting go of things that exploit your vessel will optimize your performance across the board. What you eat, you become. Incorporate balance in your diet, exercise, think great thoughts and love the body you are in.

Health quotes 3. Spirituality - This gives you balance, power and authority. It builds confidence in you and gratefulness in your gifts. It provides fulfillment to hopes and wishes. When you can call on or go to something that is bigger than you, it gives you peace and security to know that things will not only get better, but that you will be alright. Spirituality gives confirmation that greater is HE that is in you than he that is in this world. You not only handle conflict and misfortunes better, you face the battle with understanding that it's not yours.

spirituality quote 4. Income - It's a survival mechanism, a tool for stability and advancement as well as a means to be a blessing to others. Without it, hardship exist. The more you know about it and how to grow it, the more you will acquire. Income has no limits when strategically planned out. In most instances, you are in control of how many zero's you add to your life.

Income Quote

You are the primary beneficiary to a life full of wealth, including great relationships, excellent health, strong spirituality and increased income. These are your assets that can prove valuable trifold. Your decisions can make or break you in these instances. What you place priority on and give attention to grows exponentially with great investments.

5 Checkpoints of Change in your Career

Don’t FEAR change!! No matter how you feel about it, change is an inevitable part of our lives. It can be controllable, but for most, they are at the mercy of change. Learning how to accept it, embrace it and roll with the bumps and bruises of it makes you not only resilient, but capable of bouncing back sooner. Creating goals is something that should remain a constant in your life, whether you use them to plan your career, start a project or start a new life. Goal setting helps us see more clearly where we need to go and what we need to do to make that happen. Follow these 5 tips to help you gain perspective in your career and be an agent of change. 1. Seriously evaluate your reasons for wanting to change careers or get promoted in your current position. Ask yourself honestly if you want to change because you don’t like your job, because you don’t like your employer, or because you have an interest in gaining new skills and abilities and expanding your horizons. The last reason is the best reason to make a change. 2. Gain any additional training or education you need to realize a smooth transition into a new position or employment opportunity. If you don’t know what the educational requirements are for a new opportunity, then find out. Visit the BLS http://www.bls.gov to find out what the job requirements, educational requirements and salary are for the job or career field you intend to enter.

3. If changing careers, know that you may have to start from the ground up. This may mean a salary cut. If you know you will have to take a reduction in salary, then make up for it by finding a way to budget your expenses until your salary catches up with you. You should also evaluate whether you can afford changes to your salary. Hopefully, a career transition will eventually (or immediately in many cases) result in an increase, rather than decrease in salary. 4. If you plan to leave your current employer, always be sure to give them advance notice so they have time to find a replacement if necessary. This is especially true of highly technical jobs, where it can be hard to find someone on short notice and train them well enough to do the job right. You never want to burn bridges because you never know what may come out of change. 5. If you are confident that you want to change careers but aren’t sure of what you want to do, consider going into business for yourself. Evaluate your skills, abilities and talents. Look at your financial situation and assess your management and organizational skills. Many people have hopes of one day creating their own business. Now may be the time to do this. Just be sure you prepare for a big change like this by researching the home business process before you leap right in and quit your job. Many people who decide to start their own business end up keeping their jobs and working on their business part time during their off hours. This is a good way to give you time to wet your feet and get a feel for whether a home business is something you really want to start. This will also allow you time to evaluate whether you can really make enough money from it to support your family if need be.

No matter what decisions you make, when career planning for change it is important you always take your time to evaluate and analyze your decisions from numerous levels and perspectives. Always keep in mind that the grass may not be greener on the other side. Yet you will never know if it is or not if you don’t at least take a closer look. Never make decisions in the heat of the moment and always be sure to research your alternatives and new occupations before you leap right in. If you consider all options and clearly observe your goals and objectives, you will realize and reap much success in your career planning journey.

The 6 Passages of Righteousness in Business

Righteousness Business is tough and in order to remain on top, you have to be a student of the game and a believer in your efforts. What you do and how you react is conclusive of your success and the results. Take a bite out of these tips and see if it makes a difference in your life.

1. Keep a close ear. Don’t be nosey, but listen to those customers who are unhappy with their current provider of service. Offer suggestions to resolve and be a resource. If it doesn’t work out, guess who they will call. 2. Be the expert in your field. Customers like to work with someone who has an edge over what they are facing. By providing your expertise, you will be the go to person when an issue arises and hopefully solve the problem. 3. Return all calls or designate someone to do it. You never know who’s on the other side of that line. This could result in missed business opportunities. Be proactive just as you would want someone to do for you. 4. Continue to educate yourself and your associates about what you do. Attend webinars, take a class, read a journal or book. Seek experts in your field that you admire and reach out. 5. Ask for preceptorships with your customers to learn more about what they do. How can you help the business if you don’t know much about their operations? One on one customer service goes a long way. Not only will you build rapport, but you will possibly spot other areas where you can be of assistance. 6. Treat others how you want to be treated. In business, we often grasp the holier than though attitude if everything is going smooth. Rocky roads are inevitable. Utilize your contacts and resources wisely. Be nice to everyone and expect the same in return.

Live in the Purpose of your Prosperity and Abundance

prosperity12

Prosperity is right. Amen. We prosper to prosper others. We prosper to prosper God's kingdom, so come believing. Joseph Prince

Knowing how to attract prosperity can be a challenging aspect. Having the insight and the ability to "know" you're prosperous - even when you don't yet feel like you are can.

When your outer circumstances keep reflecting the illusion of lack or no progression, it's easy to get frustrated because you think your attraction attempts aren't working. However, that very frustration is what will keep you locked into the cycle of lack!

In order to break out of the illusion of lack, you have to use the power of your intuitive perspective to diminish the energy you have invested in it previously. How do you invest energy into the creation of lack? When you consistently dwell on what's not, you will eventually fall into that mindset. In retrospect, there are many ways that may not come to mind that you never think of.

- By constantly thinking about it and focusing on it.

- By constantly affirming that it exists in your life. Be affirmative in your desires and not on your current situation.

-By complaining about it to others, you will eventually learn that people really don't care about your problems and no one wants to be around a complainer. Negative people are draining and purpose destroying.

- By identifying with the lack you see in the world around you, you can connect with needs that you can possibly fulfill. Lack is everywhere and to focus on it makes it more prevalent than it may actually be.

The more energy and attention you give to the existence of lack, the more lack you attract back to yourself. Focus and concentrate on the good.

The good news is that you can also use this same process to attract prosperity and abundance into your life instead of focusing in on the far end of the spectrum!

- Constantly think about and focus on prosperity and abundance. However, be certain to NOT from a place of need, fear or anxiety - but from a sovereign place of joy, confidence and optimism that it is already yours. The mind achieves what it believes and its focus become its direction.

- Make it a daily practice to constantly affirm that you are a natural prosperity magnet and great abundance flows into your life easily and frequently.

- Don't be shy or selfish. Share the wonderful things that happen to you with others. Rather than complaining about the bad stuff, share the good stuff and encourage the people in your life to do the same. It's about attraction!

- Pay close attention to the great abundance that surrounds you at all times. In essence, you don't have to look too far. Most often we miss it and it stares us in the face. This includes the material possessions, people and blessings you currently have in your life, but also the expressions of abundance you encounter while out in the world. Yes... it does exist! Rather than feeling envious of rich and successful people, imagine that the universe has just held up a mirror to let you know that YOU can also be just as rich and successful.

Most importantly, develop the inner "knowing" that you can CHOOSE abundance and prosperity, just as easily as you chose lack and struggle.

You may not believe that you've chosen lack and struggle (who in their right minds would?) - but it's very possible to choose by innocent default. Unless you consciously choose to be prosperous, it's like sitting in the back seat of your car and expecting it to deliver you to your desired destination which will eventually get you no where. Take action and choose to live differently.

Try reciting this affirmation several times a day:

"I KNOW I am a powerful creator in my own right and I CHOOSE the harmonious flow of prosperity and abundance to flow NOW."

When you first start saying it, you'll probably feel like you're lying. That's because deep down inside, you really don't "know" it can happen for you. But keep at it. Keep saying the affirmation with strength and power and conviction in your voice, and you really will start to believe it.

And that's when everything in your outer circumstances will begin to shift toward the prosperity and abundance you "know" you deserve and yes... entitled to receive.

The Top Ten Legal American Scams

Scam Pic
"The American Dream never really existed. It was a marketing scam."
-James Altucher
Have you ever thought about life from this perspective? Everyone is out to get something regardless of how they get it. The system is set up to profit by every means. If you are not keeping up with it, you can soon find yourself in great need and maybe even depending on it for survival. Even though you may agree or disagree, the reality of the situation is, everything is about business and the bottom line is to make money. Sometimes at the expense of you!

1. Insurance – They bank on you not dying, getting in a car accident or getting sick. Because if you do, they have to pay out. This business would prefer that nothing happens to their bottom line. That would mean more money in their pocket, better facilities and high rise buildings with marble floors all paid from your premiums. However, you must keep paying or else you would be at greater risk if something were to happen. The insurance business is a billion dollar industry that will continue to grow. By 2017, we will be paying over $100 billion annually to private insurance companies to secure our interest. 2. Bank Fees - You pay someone else to manage your money and they earn an interest. The banks charge you a fee when you can’t meet your day to day expenses with overdraft fees. You are also charged monthly just to bank with them. They can make as many financial errors as they want and they will be backed by the system that controls the whole scam. All they have to do is ask for a bailout or file chapter 11 and they are back in business ready to start all over again or perhaps where they left off. Whereas the average citizen, you and I, are doomed!! We can’t get a bailout when we make a big financial mistake. Yeah, you can file bankruptcy, however, you will be tarnished for years per the standards of society. A 2007 study by the Center for Responsible Lending said consumers are paying fees of $17.5 billion annually -- on automatic overdraft loans of $15.8 billion per year. 3. Mortgages – In essence, you don’t actually own the home until you have the title in your hand and your debt is free and clear. I never understood the term homeowner. It should read, “borrowing to own a home.” The bank is the lien holder and the owner until they are paid in full. The advantage of being a “person borrowing to own a home” is that you get to write off the taxes and the interest you paid throughout the year to live in or rent it out. However, the mortgage lien holders get to do the exact same thing. They also receive bailouts too when your finances are not in order. If you have to foreclose, you get nothing in return except a negative credit rating. The lien holder gets to write it off as a loss (bad debt.) So in the end, the mortgage lien holder still comes out on top, they are still in business and they have secured your home. 4. Renting a place to live – You are just paying someone else to live a good life and build their equity. While you are paying for their lifestyle, you are losing money as if you were throwing it out the window. The “person borrowing to own a home” who you pay your rent to, receives every possible advantage to even make a profit on your hard earned dollar. You probably end up paying the IRS or getting little back at the end of the year because of this. 5. Healthcare – The system is designed to keep you sick. Instead of sharing with you remedies and tools to help you get better, some physicians heavily medicate and keep you comatose from reality. In the meantime, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and physicians are profiting off of your lack of awareness. Check out other countries and how they operate their healthcare system. Very few, if anyone is in medical debt. Our systems thrives on making a dollar, keeping corporation’s rich and impoverishing the working class. As of 2012, 75 million people reported problems paying their medical bills or were paying off medical debt, up from 73 million in 2010 and 58 million in 2005. An estimated 48 million people were paying off medical debt in 2012, up from 44 million in 2010 and 37 million in 2006 (Source: Press Release, The Commonwealth Fund.) 6. Government – If you look at what it was designed for,” to protect and serve the people”, it has totally strayed away from this principle. Instead, we live in a society that it deprives, uses and abuse power and facilitate in acts that cost the country millions. • People are geared towards a system that keeps them economically challenged with no desire to get better (food stamps). Now I agree that there is a need, especially when times get hard and there is nowhere to turn. Yet to not offer a recipient a decent salary to feed and take care of a family, it gives them nowhere else to turn. America has one • People get in political office and instead of making the situation better, they rob the people who voted them in office with greed and mistrust. Who can you trust that really has your best interest at heart? • Wars, wars and more wars… We have a war right here in our own country. There are so many homeless vets and others who could use that money right here in America. How come we can’t use some of the millions that we spend everywhere else to give people in our own back yard a better way of life? 7. Education – Only in America can one go to school and get a degree, be in debt, never make enough to pay their loans off and die with them not being paid. Look at other countries. They go to school for free and graduate with little to no educational debt. They live free of being hounded to pay back money to not only make themselves better, but the community they live in better as well. 8. Utilities – Even though it’s a privilege and a blessing to have due to the fact that third world countries don’t have them, is it necessary to profit while customers inherit significant rate increases? I mean I understand it’s a business, but it’s a needed commodity that you know one almost has to have. You have people who barely get by and it’s hard for them to maintain, yet the CEO of the company has profited while you scrap to pay your bill. 9. The Prison System – So many people do wrong and they deserve to pay the time. However, this system predicates off people doing unjustly. The owners of this enterprise profit heavily and keep people tied to a system that offers them a return visit. Free housing, healthcare, food and sometimes work. Yes work.. They do that in prison and get paid cents on the dollar. Work is done for corporate enterprises so that they don’t have to hire anyone to do it and pay them a salary. Not all jobs go overseas. Some are in your back yard and you will never know it unless you are the one running the company. Why not offer rehabilitation and career opportunities so that this cycle does not become a career? Well.. that’s cutting into their profits. So why ask why? After all, it’s a business, right? 10. Corporate America – You work for years in some companies and made them enough profits for the shareholders and stockholders to retire and live a comfortable life. You have given them the most significant aspect of your life and yet you retire with a pen, a certificate and possibly a ring. Where did that time go? Thirty years and you have nothing to show for it. In the meantime, the stockholders and CEO’s have made enough money off of your sweat, long hours and tears to retire and possibly never work again, not to mention the luxury you’ve provided their family.

One can go on and on about how everyday American citizens are taken advantage of by the system and think nothing of it. It’s something we are taught to do, understand and just go with the flow. All eyes need to be placed on what we can do to make this country better while being profitable. It shouldn’t be at the expense of the citizens who work hard every day to be screwed in the long run.
