Remember.. There is Light at the End of the Tunnel

tunnel.jpg

Whether trying to balance work and life, running a marathon, working towards your dream, chasing after the kids or trying to make a marriage work, there are some situations we can find ourselves in where we want to keep going but really struggle to maintain motivation. We have to give every last drop of will-power and energy not to just give up and pack it all in.

In these situations. it's important to understand nothing is worth it if you are not all into it. Simply put.. take care of yourself first. We often find ourselves turning to mental tricks and prayer to try and convince ourselves to keep going. So what are some of the best techniques you can use in the moment to ensure that you persist?

Draw Inspiration from Simple Moments

You must have some good moments that you can look back at and smile even today. Majority of us have stories and memories that we can use to dig deep and find inspiration. Perhaps you had a parent or a friend who never gave up no matter what. Maybe you remember them challenging you to accomplish something and really believing in you. Or maybe you have a favorite movie or event that keeps its memory alive.  Either way, these sorts of thoughts and memories can help you to dig deep when you're really struggling for energy, commitment or will-power.

If that doesn't work, try an inspiring music that lifts your spirit. Some people resort to their favorite song or a gospel track that speaks of trials and triumphs. Regardless of what it is, make certain it embodies you with peace and determination.

Remind Yourself Why You're Doing It

Everything you do should have purpose and meaning. Remind yourself why you're doing what you're doing. Is it for yourself or is it for someone else. If you're working towards a dream then try visualizing yourself where you want to be when you complete the task. If you're trying to make money, that might mean imagining yourself on a cruise, on your dream vacation, or in your dream house. Use visuals to help make your goals more realistic. I always remind my clients to give deadlines to their timelines. Meaning establish a date that you plan to accomplish it and stick to it.

Remind Yourself of the Consequences

If you don't accomplish your goals, what will be the price. Sometimes the stick can be more motivating than the carrot. If imagining yourself being highly successful because you did well isn't doing the trick, then maybe try doing the opposite instead and imagining what would happen if you had to give up. Imagine having to tell everyone you failed. Imagine knowing you failed… Especially after all the effort you've already put in! Failure isn't fun. However, it could be the medicine you need to achieve your goals. Failure has always been my greatest teacher. It's given me perspective that I am greater than that.

Break it Down

mountains.jpg

It's okay to go slow and at your own pace. The only race you are trying to complete is yours and nobody can beat you at that. If you're tackling what seems to be an impossible task then sometimes it can help to break it down into smaller milestones. Your goals will seem more achievable if you don't make the task look so big. Climbing a hill is more motivating than climbing a mountain. For instance, if you've dreamed of writing a book, then celebrate each time you add a thousand words and count how many units of 1,000 you have left to go. Your first book doesn't have to be long, but it should be worth reading. Learn more about how to write your first book here.

Take a Break

Taking a break requires you understanding Rome wasn't build in a day and great things take time. Sometimes the best thing to do is to take a step back and have a breather. A breath of fresh air ain't never hurt anyone. Your peace will help you to achieve moreso than your anger. Be strategic with your energy management and realize that a short time away can often yield better results in the long term. You will also appreciate the process and respect it more.

I hope these tips have helped. Accomplishing daily goals is essential for success. Realizing that you can't do it all by yourself and that it's ok to ask for help is necessary. Keep striving for what you want. Never give up on yourself. You are your greatest asset and your next level depends on it. Connect with me for daily inspiration and motivation on Instagram. The Laws I Learned About Building Wealth Online

money wealth pic.jpg

They don't teach money in school and most people fail at learning it on their own. I've always been interested in learning what it took and takes for others to make money online without sacrificing my whole life. As I continue to learn, I've picked up a few nuggets here and there. I must say, if you want to diversify your financial portfolio, building wealth online is an excellent way to start.

When the internet first started, few could ever imagine how far reaching it’s effects will be more than a decade down the line. It’s a fact of life now that the internet will continue to change virtually every aspect of our everyday life. As the world’s internet population keeps expanding, so does the opportunities for entrepreneurs and ordinary folk looking to escape the slavery of a nine to five job.

Online wealth building is for everyone. The sheer amount of opportunities presented online enables anybody to start building wealth online. There are just so many areas to explore and regardless of your level of talent, skill or interest, you will find something that suits you.

Someone once said that ‘you can turn any passion into profit online’ and this is more true now than ever before. It seems like the biggest problem is not in finding a suitable program, but rather in not getting distracted by all the various options that we get bombarded with. Every single day new opportunities open up and it’s our natural tendency to get in on the action. Online wealth building however relies on focus and having the discipline to not get distracted.

If you are committed to building your wealth online it holds many obvious advantages. The freedom to work on your own clock and answering only to yourself are the main reasons why so many make the shift from the office to the spare room at home. Many online wealth building programs create false illusions that leave many aspiring newbies out in the cold after investing their valuable time and money.

The internet is a tough world when it comes to making a living, but then again so is it out there in the ‘real’ world. Don’t expect an easy ride, but don’t be put off either. There are just so many opportunities online that you are bound to find your place sooner rather than later.

I would like to offer you what I consider to be the five laws of online wealth building, that can help you greatly towards creating long term success online. I would encourage you to use these laws to evaluate potential opportunities or just to evaluate your current position.

The Law Of Excellence:
Things tend to move really fast online. It is critical that you commit yourself to excellence and to always keep learning and improving. If you don’t you will most certainly fall behind. Strive for excellence. You can’t keep doing the same things and expect to improve, nor does doing more of what doesn’t work won’t make it work any better.

The Law Of Quality:
I like the term ‘wealth building’ because it implies that it’s not some instantaneous thing. Quality always gets rewarded long term and although some of the ‘get rich quick’ schemes online work, they rarely work long term. There is a big difference between making a quick buck and building wealth. Whatever you create online, strive for quality first as this will ensure sustainability in what you do.

The Law Of Choice:
Wealth is a choice. Just like poverty is. You’ve probably heard this before, but never really understood it completely. Being wealthy starts with a choice and it’s a choice you have to make daily and on a regular basis. The internet is responsible for the largest distribution on wealth in history. The power is shifting from the big corporations to the guy (or girl) in his garage with a single laptop. You can choose to be part of this or to keep doing what you’ve always done.

The Law Of Persistence:
When it comes to online wealth building, for some the learning curve will be greater than for others. Regardless of your skill level you will face many challenges and often consider packing it in. This is where persistence and perseverance comes in. Realize that you will always meet with much difficulty before you succeed – it’s essential for your personal growth and developing to a level of success.

The Law Of Value:
Whatever you do online, be a team player! I cannot overemphasize that enough. Your wealth and success is directly proportional to the amount of value that you add to other people. If you want to be more successful, just think of how you can add more value to other people’s lives.

Financial success is most certainly obtainable for virtually anybody. There is however a big difference between obtainable success and sustainable success. Just think back at the story of The Three Little Pigs – you want to build your ‘house’ from brick and make sure that your success is sustainable long term. After all, who wants to quit their day job only to go back after six months?

Profitable Ways to Use Your Tax Refund

tax pic22.jpg

“Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” –Ronald Reagan

It’s tax time again! You may not like this time of year, but many people do. Was saving money, making money or spending money on your list of resolutions for 2018? If so, here’s a great opportunity to start the year off right. Don’t just talk about it, be about it and just do it! Instead of using your tax refund that you allowed the government to hold all year with no interest to buy something of no value, utilize it to increase your financial portfolio and better the life of yourself and those around you. You will be much better off in the long run and you will reap what you sow. A harvest well planted grows bountiful in rewards. Listed below are 5 things you can do today to increase your net worth.

1. Buy a house. As a homeowner, you get to deduct the interest you pay to the mortgage company. Even though home ownership comes with a lot of responsibility, the good outweighs everything. Instead of being the 3rd party in a transaction, it will be you and the bank. Not you, the landlord and the bank. Home ownership helps you build wealth. You will have an opportunity to build a solid credit history with on time monthly payments. This gives you leverage. If you are renting or leasing, your landlord enjoys this benefit. He/she is basically enjoying the financial rewards of your inability to do this and creating wealth at the same time. Things have changed a lot with buying a home. I suggest you seek a qualified, licensed Realtor and mortgage professional to help you along the way. Interested in learning about investment real estate? Check out "5 Things to Consider When Buying Investment Property."

2. Start a home-based business You may feel that starting a business can be costly and overwhelming. Well… you are right for the most part. However, a home based business offers so much more flexibility and are typically less expensive to start versus a brick and mortar type of business. Most home based business owners start while they are still working a job to make ends meet. That’s the uniqueness of this type of opportunity. Being a business owner gives you the right to write off expenses while conducting business. It also provides you with another means of income and you are not so dependent on your job. Business owners save an average of $500.00 monthly on their taxes and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. That’s about 10 to 18 percent. You have the flexibility to do what the average tax payer cannot do which gives you more diversity in your portfolio. You can deduct home office space, utilities, gifts and incentives to name a few. Check with your local tax advisor about the advantages in your state. Interested in working from home? Check out "Start Your Own Drop Shipping Business.:

3. Invest in stock options. Even though the Dow has its ups and downs, your money has a greater chance to increase versus being placed in a bank account at 0.5% to 2% interest. Search and investigate the companies growth history over the last five years so that you can make a wise decision. Hire a broker if you don’t feel comfortable with your knowledge. Join an investment club, watch you-tube videos and read books. There’s so much information available at your fingertips about how to build wealth.

4. Pay off credit card debt with the highest interest. Most of your monthly payment is going towards the interest and not the balance. This activity makes it literally impossible to ever pay it off in a reasonable amount of time. Debt is the handicap of wealth. The only way to get rid of it is to stop accumulating it. Credit card debt can be good and bad. Depending on what you are using it for justifies its value.

5. Donate to charityThis is the most rewarding aspect of giving. You haven’t been blessed until you can bless someone else. Not only will you impact the lives of others, but you will contribute to your personal well being by utilizing it as a deduction next year to do the same thing again or find a new cause. Find a charity you are passionate about. Utilize its mission to make you a better person. Get involved with the charity and its purpose. Your time and donation will be indispensable to those in need.

I hope you found these five tips worthy. Encourage others to take this challenge. Be the spearhead of this endeavor and watch how your life and your circumstance will change for the better. Not only will you be happier, you will also feel more accomplished. Blessings!

5 Excuses You Tell Yourself That May Be Keeping You From Your Destiny

excuses.jpg

Excuses are easy to make and they hold less responsibility. Think about how many you have made over your lifetime. I personally am guilty too. I never really understood how excuses affected my life until one particular day. Instead of making an excuse, I said why not. This was one of the best days I could remember in 2017. If I had made an excuse, I could have lost out on an amazing deal that literally has changed my life moving forward. Making decisions can be tough, especially when you are uncertain of the result. I've learned to be less reserved and more adventurous while making less excuses.

Listed below are some of the excuses that I've heard over the years. More importantly in 2017. I've even made a couple myself.  I bring these to your attention to identify with where you are now and where you hope to be. Mindset is everything and everything is mindset. if you are not careful, your mind will play tricks on you to believe otherwise. You will consistently stay in a state of hoping, wishing and not doing. Get focused now by starting 2018 off right with  The 5 Day Mindset Diet.

When you are good at making an excuse, it’s hard to excel at anything.
— John L. Mason

1. I don't have any money. The truth is money is available, but you may not be budgeting or spending appropriately. People spend money on things they want, but not necessarily on things they need. When I personally look at some of the things I've spent money on, I get sick to my stomach. Adding it all up, I've could have paid off some debt, taken a trip or invested in some coaching to assist me with making wiser decisions. If saving money is a problem for you, RIZE is a great place to start your savings journey. Out of sight, equals out of mind which equals more money. Interested in investing, check out ACORN

Start making and earning some money...

2. If it's meant for me, it will happen. Well that's not always the case. If you don't respond, how do you know it's not for you. A lack of action leads to nothing happening. "Faith without action is dead." If you are sitting around waiting for that better relationship, that new job, that trip, to start that business or to do whatever. If you are not doing what's necessary for it to happen, it probably never will.

no more excuses.png

3. I ain't never heard of that so it must not be real. Well.. there are a lot of things in the world you will not hear of. Nevertheless, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Google makes it easy for us to begin our own research to learn more about what you ain't never heard of. The key is to be open minded and receptive to learning and hearing about new things. A closed mind will never understand that opportunity is free, but a hustle comes with a cost. You either will pay on the front end or the back end. But nevertheless, you will pay.

There are over 7 billion people in the world, do you know all of them...

4. Who else is doing it? Why does it matter who else is doing it? Does it solidify you doing it? Too many people seek to fit in instead of standing out. Everything is not for everybody. Those who understand opportunity realize that only the ones who have the ability to take risk and respect a challenge are typically the one's who receive the reward.

Excuses are tools with which persons with no purpose in view build for themselves great monuments of nothing.
— Steven Grayhm

5. I'm not good at sales. Shhhhhhh! You don't have to be good to make money! I bet you didn't know that. Not only is it one of the highest paid professions, many sales position don't require formal education. All you need is a hunger, a desire to help people and a winning attitude. 90% of excellent sales people have never read a book, but they know how to sell just about anything.  I've been in some form of sales my whole life too and I tell you what, I've never returned a commission check because it was too small.

The reality is you probably have been selling stuff your whole life and just don't realize it. When you refer someone to a place, offer a suggestion or show someone how to do something, you are selling based on a suggestive or indirect sale and more than likely you are not being compensated for it.  What a bummer!! Every coin chimes and every dollar folds. Your loss and someone else's gain. People get paid daily to refer people to a link, a site or a business. Look at how much money you've been missing referring people and sharing information. Interested in some referral income? Learn more here

In today's society, you must diversify your skills in order to remain competitive....

Overall, I truly believe that you have not because you ask not. Changing your life or a situation requires you to not be afraid of the other side. Being open to change is not easy. How to Get More Out of Your 2018

2018 goals.jpg

If you want more out of life, you will have to get more out of yourself. Planning, setting goals and sticking to them will set you apart from someone who makes resolutions versus one who makes a commitment and follows through.

In order to have your best 2018..

1. Live everyday better than the day before. Be in competition with yourself. No one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. The more you are accountable to you and what you do, the more confident you will become. There's always another opportunity to correct, start over and redo. Be your biggest cheerleader. Clap for yourself and seek less approval.

2. Opt-in for more happiness and seek greater abundance. Instead of looking at what is wrong or what could go wrong, focus on what could go right. Make a daily commitment to be happy about something. Gain clarity and get better. The more you work on bettering you, the less you will be concerned about the things around you that are not right. A mind focused on abundance can help you strategize this plan. Check out the 5 Day Mindset Challenge to help you get on track.

3.  Adopt new behaviors that will stretch you. Being stretched breaks the normal aspect of what you are used to. Seek the advantages of trying and doing something new. Your value is greater than your worth. In developing an attitude of gratitude, you will learn that by stretching, you are actually pruning yourself for what is to come. Check out Why You Should Take Your Elevation Seriously. Your next level is not only going to require more of you, but it will require you to make some decisions that will make you uncomfortable.

4. Explain less and explore more. Most often you never try anything new because you have to answer to someone about why you want to do it. In 2018, become more in control of your destiny. Do you and never apologize for wanting to change, grow or improve. You owe it to yourself and those you love to be the best you can be everyday.

Explaining to people who may doubt you and talk you out of it will only stifle your desired growth. Explore new things and get uncomfortable being comfortable.

5. Live above your means. Now this is contrary to what society will tell you. But the reality is if you live below your means, you are limiting your potential towards achieving the life you desire.

Nothing in life is free and freedom is an asset. If you want it, it's going to cost you to get it. As a result, you may have to seek additional streams of income in order to make what you want a reality. You must plan accordingly and that includes setting goals that are attainable and those that may be above what you can afford. The more you aim towards your goals, the less attention you will pay to the distractions. You will become focused and determined to achieve a full life versus lack.

2018 will only be what you decide it to be. Every year comes with challenges. Take each day as it comes and always look at the bright side. Yes.. there is always a bright side to every situation. Know that life is only short if you are not living.

If you want to explore new purpose or direction in your life, consider life coaching. I can be reached here for a one one 15 min consult to assist you with planning an amazing 2018 and beyond.

Until next time, blessings and peace

Slowly Fill Your Glass Until it's Full

conquer fear everyday.jpg
If you are not willing to risk the usual, then you will just have to settle for the ordinary.
— Jim Rohn

Let me ask you a question. Do you know a person who always seems happy and positive about themselves and life in general? They never seem to have a problem and seem to be able to deal with things in life with composure and grace.

Overall... I find these people to be far and few in between. If a person is this way, social perspectives will tell us that they are either faking it until they make it or something else is going on in that picture. The reality is that there are people who exist that live life intentionally with now excuses or apologies. And it’s nothing wrong with it. We all need to surround ourselves with people who have a positive mindset and who are living life on purpose versus just by happenstance.  Do you wish you were more positive and could relate to this behavior? Are you able to deal with your life circumstances with a positive attitude?

These people have a way of seeing life as being a “half full glass” where even if things are going very wrong, they find something positive in it to focus on. Viewing life this way is natural for some people, but for most people who use this approach to life, it is a learned response. It develops from making an intention to look at the positive and not dwell on the negative. This behavior is practiced. It’s not necessarily developed overnight, but it is a daily process that is always a work in progress.

Now all of this may sound easy on paper, but, it’s not. How do people learn to focus on a half-full glass and not the half-empty one and remain positive? It’s not easy to be thankful when faced with difficult circumstances. That’s a fact! However, practicing gratitude daily helps us deal with a lot of thing and being able to deal with the most difficult experiences we may face in our lives. It is the key to the optimism that we see in the positive person we admire so much.

When we complain all the time, we can quickly lose our perspective. Your thoughts are prayers and they can turn into what happens in your life. Yes, we are all different and move at a different pace. What one does in less time may take a longer time for others. But before you complain, consider the work quality between the two. Maybe our concern is justified, but if the work produced is superior in quality, then maybe the extra time was justified? Quality versus quantity will always supersede

A “half glass full” thinking seeks to clarify a situation before complaining about it. It asks whether a complaint will make the situation better or worse and if it will help to resolve the issue. In most cases, the answer to both these questions is no! On those occasions where it is justified, then we should do something about it. A clear perspective on the situation can help us to resolve an otherwise irresolvable problem. Maintaining an attitude of gratitude helps us maintain a positive perspective on most things that happen in our life. It helps to keep the glass half-full even in the most difficult of circumstances.

Strive to keep your glass full always. Understand that you have the authority to make your life a reflection of your ideas and thoughts. Know that you can purposely live in your light, shine bright and be whoever you want to be without apologizing for your greatness. Say it is so... If you need to clarify your thoughts for 2018, if you are interested in living a bigger life in your faith, lifestyle, health and wealth, I’m offering you a FREE transformation class here. Let’s plan and prepare to dominate our greatness and move through roadblocks with determination and inspiration. I will see you on the other side of fear. Don't forget to share this blog post with someone who needs that extra push.

Blessings and much peace,

Nichelle
